'Troubles' in the Bible

Then He will speak to them in His [profound] angerAnd terrify them with His displeasure, saying,

The troubles of my heart are multiplied;Bring me out of my distresses.

O God, redeem Israel,Out of all his troubles.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard himAnd saved him from all his troubles.

When the righteous cry [for help], the Lord hearsAnd rescues them from all their distress and troubles.

You who have shown me many troubles and distressesWill revive and renew me again,And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

For my soul is full of troubles,And my life draws near the grave (Sheol, the place of the dead).
