'Utterly' in the Bible
Then I said, “Lord, how long?” And He answered,“Until cities are devastated and without inhabitant,Houses are without peopleAnd the land is utterly desolate,
And the Lord will utterly destroyThe tongue of the Sea of Egypt;And He will wave His hand over the RiverWith His scorching wind;And He will strike it into seven streamsAnd make men walk over dry-shod.
Therefore Moab will wail; everyone of Moab will wail.You will moan for the raisin cakes of Kir-haresethAs those who are utterly stricken.
Moreover, the manufacturers of linen made from combed flaxAnd the weavers of white cloth will be utterly dejected.
And it will hail when the forest comes down,And the city will be utterly laid low.
For the Lord’s indignation is against all the nations,And His wrath against all their armies;He has utterly destroyed them,He has given them over to slaughter.
They will be turned back and be utterly put to shame,Who trust in idols,Who say to molten images,“You are our gods.”
“For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish,And the nations will be utterly ruined.
