'Wait' in the Bible
“Let the stars of its twilight be darkened;Let it wait for light but have none,And let it not see the breaking dawn;
“What is my strength, that I should wait?And what is my end, that I should endure?
“If a man dies, will he live again?All the days of my struggle I will waitUntil my change comes.
“Shall I wait, because they do not speak,Because they stop and no longer answer?
“How much less when you say you do not behold Him,The case is before Him, and you must wait for Him!
“Wait for me a little, and I will show youThat there is yet more to be said in God’s behalf.
When they crouch in their densAnd lie in wait in their lair?
