'Weep' in the Bible
Immediately a rooster crowed a second time, and Peter remembered when Jesus had spoken the word to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” When he thought about it, he began to weep.
You who are now hungry are blessed,because you will be filled.You who now weep are blessed,because you will laugh.
Woe to you who are now full,for you will be hungry.Woe to you who are now laughing,for you will mourn and weep.
They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to each other:We played the flute for you,but you didn’t dance;we sang a lament,but you didn’t weep!

Be miserable and mourn and weep. Your laughter must change to mourning and your joy to sorrow.
Come now, you rich people! Weep and wail over the miseries that are coming on you.
The kings of the earth who have committed sexual immorality and lived luxuriously with her will weep and mourn over her when they see the smoke of her burning.
The merchants of the earth will also weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their merchandise any longer—
