He has remembered his covenant forever! It is the word he commanded to a thousand generations.

Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant with you and all living creatures of every kind. In the future your son will ask you: 'What is the meaning of these laws and regulations that Jehovah our God has commanded you?' Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness. He is longsuffering (patient) toward you. He does not wish that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Can a woman forget her nursing child? Will she have no compassion on the child from her womb? Although mothers forget, I will not forget you. I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are constantly before me.

When God destroyed the cities of the valley where Lot was living, he kept Abraham in mind and allowed Lot to escape to safety.

The next morning Elkanah and his family got up early. After worshiping Jehovah, they went back home to Ramah. Elkanah had intercourse with his wife Hannah and Jehovah answered her prayer. This is the covenant (agreement) that I will make with Israel after those days, declares Jehovah. I will put my teachings (Law) inside them. I will write those teachings (Law) on their hearts (inner man) (mind) (will) (conscience) (understanding). I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will each person teach his neighbors or his relatives by saying: 'Know Jehovah.' All of them, from the least important to the most important, will know me, declares Jehovah. I will forgive their wickedness and I will no longer hold (remember) their sins against them.

Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of (amen, so be it) truth; he who takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes. Behold! I WILL CREATE A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

If the wicked man turns from all his sins and observes all my statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall live; he shall not die. But suppose a righteous person turns away from doing right and he does evil things. He does all the disgusting things that the wicked person did. Will he live? Why am I discouraged? Why am I so restless? I put my hope in God for I will still praise him. He is my salvation and my God. I am very discouraged. That is why I will remember you in the land of Jordan, on the peaks of Hermon, on Mount Mizar.

You people escaped from the sword. Now leave! Do not just stand there. Remember Jehovah in a distant land and think about Jerusalem.

Remember the miracles he performed. And remember the amazing things he did and the judgments he pronounced.

Do you still not see or remember the five cakes of bread of the five thousand, and the number of baskets you took up? Or the seven cakes of bread of the four thousand, and the number of baskets you took up?

Never forget how you made Jehovah your God angry in the desert. You rebelled against Jehovah from the day you left Egypt until you came here. Even at Mount Horeb you made Jehovah so angry that he wanted to destroy you.

This is the second letter I write to you, beloved. I stimulate your memory in each letter. You should remember the words that were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of the Lord and Savior through your apostles. Speak to the Israelites and tell them: For generations to come they must wear tassels on the corners of their clothes. Each tassel should have violet threads. When you look at the threads in the tassel, you will remember all Jehovah's commandments and obey them. Then you will not do whatever you want and go after whatever you see, as if you were chasing after prostitutes. You will remember to obey all my commandments. You will be holy to your God.

Be careful to do all the commandments I commanded you today! You will then live and multiply and go in and possess the land Jehovah promised to give to your forefathers. Remember the forty years Jehovah your God led you in the wilderness. He did this in order to humble you and test you. He wanted to know what was in your heart. Whether you would obey his commandments.

But the loving kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting on those who reverence him, and his righteousness is to the sons of sons. It is to those who keep his covenant, and to those who remember to do his commandments.

In all things I gave you an example. You by laboring should help the weak. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus: It is more blessed to give than to receive.

They wanted us to remember the poor. I was eager (zealous) to do this very thing.

Show hospitality to strangers, for some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them. Remember those who are suffering, as though you were suffering as they are.

Remember the former days in which, after being enlightened, you endured great struggle with afflictions. You were at times publicly insulted and mistreated. Other times you were ready to join those who were being treated in this way. You shared the sufferings of prisoners. When all your belongings were seized, you endured your loss gladly. This is because you knew that you possessed something much better, which would last forever.read more.
