'Withered' in the Bible
A man was there who had a withered hand. And they asked Jesus, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?" so that they could accuse him.
But when the sun came up, they were scorched, and because they did not have sufficient root, they withered.
After noticing a fig tree by the road he went to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. He said to it, "Never again will there be fruit from you!" And the fig tree withered at once.
Then Jesus entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand.
So he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Stand up among all these people."
When the sun came up it was scorched, and because it did not have sufficient root, it withered.
In the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.
Peter remembered and said to him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered."
On another Sabbath, Jesus entered the synagogue and was teaching. Now a man was there whose right hand was withered.
But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, "Get up and stand here." So he rose and stood there.
Other seed fell on rock, and when it came up, it withered because it had no moisture.
