'Adorned' in the Bible

Now while some were speaking about the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and offerings, Jesus said,

For in the same way the holy women who hoped in God long ago adorned themselves by being subject to their husbands,

Now the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet clothing, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls. She held in her hand a golden cup filled with detestable things and unclean things from her sexual immorality.

saying, "Woe, woe, O great city -- dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet clothing, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls --

And I saw the holy city -- the new Jerusalem -- descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.
