'Adorned' in the Bible
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!
then it saith, I will turn back to my house whence I came forth; and having come, it findeth it unoccupied, swept, and adorned:
and having come, it findeth it swept and adorned;
“Consider how the wildflowers grow: They don’t labor or spin thread. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!
And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
And my language and the Message that I proclaimed were not adorned with persuasive words of earthly wisdom, but depended upon truths which the Spirit taught and mightily carried home;
For if a man comes into your meeting place wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in dirty clothes also comes in,
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls. She had a gold cup in her hand filled with everything vile and with the impurities of her prostitution.
saying:Woe, woe, the great city,dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet,adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls,
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
