'Burn' in the Bible
The strong man will become tinder,His work also a spark. Thus they shall both burn togetherAnd there will be none to quench them.
And the light of Israel will become a fire and his Holy One a flame,And it will burn and devour his thorns and his briars in a single day.
“I have no wrath.Should someone give Me briars and thorns in battle,Then I would step on them, I would burn them completely.
Even Lebanon is not enough to burn,Nor its beasts enough for a burnt offering.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,Nor will the flame burn you.
Then it becomes something for a man to burn, so he takes one of them and warms himself; he also makes a fire to bake bread. He also makes a god and worships it; he makes it a graven image and falls down before it.
