'Chains' in the Bible
So now, do not mock, or your chains will become heavier! For I have heard a message about decreed destruction, from the sovereign master, the Lord who commands armies, against the entire land.
A craftsman casts an idol; a metalsmith overlays it with gold and forges silver chains for it.
This is what the Lord says: "The profit of Egypt and the revenue of Ethiopia, along with the Sabeans, those tall men, will be brought to you and become yours.
