'Depths' in the Bible

The Lord said, “I will bring your enemies back from Bashan;I will bring them back from the depths of the [Red] Sea,

You who have shown me many troubles and distressesWill revive and renew me again,And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

For great is Your lovingkindness and graciousness toward me;And You have rescued my life from the depths of Sheol [from death].

You have laid me in the lowest pit,In dark places, in the depths.

He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up;And He led them through the depths as through a pasture.

Out of the depths [of distress] I have cried to You, O Lord.

My frame was not hidden from You,When I was being formed in secret,And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.
