'Devouring' in the Bible

What the devouring locust has left,the swarming locust has eaten;what the swarming locust has left,the young locust has eaten;and what the young locust has left,the destroying locust has eaten.

Before them a fire devours,And behind them a flame burns;Before them the land is like the Garden of Eden,But behind them a desolate wilderness;And nothing at all escapes them.

As the noise of chariots, on the tops of the mountains they skip, As the noise of a flame of fire devouring stubble, As a mighty people set in array for battle.

I will repay you for the yearsthat the swarming locust ate,the young locust, the destroying locust,and the devouring locust—My great army that I sent against you.
