'Distinction' in the Bible
Her priests abuse my law and have desecrated my holy things. They do not distinguish between the holy and the profane, or recognize any distinction between the unclean and the clean. They ignore my Sabbaths and I am profaned in their midst.
Then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold were broken in pieces without distinction and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors that the wind carries away. Not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the statue became a large mountain that filled the entire earth.
Then once more you will see that I make a distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not.
and he made no distinction between them and us, cleansing their hearts by faith.
namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,
For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.
It is similar for lifeless things that make a sound, like a flute or harp. Unless they make a distinction in the notes, how can what is played on the flute or harp be understood?
