'Eat' in the Bible

For three days he couldn't see, and he didn't eat or drink anything.

He became very hungry and wanted to eat, and while the food was being prepared, he fell into a trance

Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter! Kill something and eat it."

I also heard a voice telling me, "Get up, Peter! Kill something and eat it.'

In the morning, the Jewish leaders formed a conspiracy and took an oath not to eat or drink anything before they had killed Paul.

Don't believe them, because more than 40 of them are planning to ambush him. They've taken an oath not to eat or drink before they've killed him. They are ready now, just waiting for your consent."

Right up to daybreak Paul kept urging all of them to eat something. He said, "Today is the fourteenth day that you have been waiting and going without food, not eating anything.

So I urge you to eat something, for it will help you survive, since none of you will lose so much as a hair from his head."

After he said this, he took some bread, thanked God in front of everyone, broke it, and began to eat.

Everyone was encouraged and had something to eat.
