'Expect' in the Bible

Let integrity and uprightness protect me,For I wait [expectantly] for You.

Wait for and confidently expect the Lord;Be strong and let your heart take courage;Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

Be strong and let your hearts take courage,All you who wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

Wait for and expect the Lord and keep His way,And He will exalt you to inherit the land;[In the end] when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

“And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait?My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.

I will thank You forever, because You have done it, [You have rescued me and kept me safe].I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.
