'Fallen' in the Bible
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
This He said, and after that He *said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep.”
The disciples then said to Him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”
For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
‘After these things I will return,And I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen,And I will rebuild its ruins,And I will restore it,
And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew dialect, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
