'Fields' in the Bible
Their houses will be turned over to others,their fields and wives as well,for I will stretch out My handagainst the inhabitants of the land.This is the Lord’s declaration.
Don’t go out to the fields;don’t walk on the road.For the enemy has a sword;terror is on every side.
Therefore, I will give their wives to other men,their fields to new occupants,for from the least to the greatest,everyone is making profit dishonestly.From prophet to priest,everyone deals falsely.
Your adulteries and your lustful neighing,your heinous prostitutionon the hills, in the fields—I have seen your detestable acts.Woe to you, Jerusalem!You are unclean—for how long yet?

Fields will be bought in this land about which you are saying, ‘It’s a desolation without man or beast; it has been handed over to the Chaldeans!’
However, Nebuzaradan, the commander of the guards, left in the land of Judah some of the poor people who owned nothing, and he gave them vineyards and fields at that time.
