'Finish' in the Bible

And whenever they persecute you in this town, flee to another, for truly I say to you, you will never finish [going through] the towns of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

{Otherwise} [after] he has laid the foundation and is not able to finish [it], all who see [it] will begin to ridicule him,

saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish!'

But I consider [my] life [as] worth {nothing} to myself, in order to finish my mission and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify [to] the gospel of the grace of God.

convinced of this same [thing], that the one who began a good work in you will finish [it] until the day of Christ Jesus,
