And He said, Father, Father, all things are possible to thee; take this cup from me; but not what I will, but what thou wilt.
saying, Father, if this cup is willing to pass from me; moreover let not my will, but thine be done.
Jesus says to them, My food is that I may do the will of Him that sent me, and finish His work.
I am not able to do anything of myself: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the One having sent me.
then I said, Lo, I come in the volume of the Book it has been written of me to do thy will, O God.
And He said to them, That, it behooveth me to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God to many other cities: because unto this I have been sent.
And He says to them, Let us go into the surrounding villages and cities, that I may preach there; for unto this I have come out.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor: hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and sight to the blind, and to set at liberty them that are bruised, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
And Jesus having come out thence, departed into the regions of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a Canaanitish woman having come out from those coasts, cried unto Him saying, Have mercy on me, Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is terribly demonized. And He responded to her not a word; and His disciples, having come to Him, asked Him, saying, Send her away; because she cries after us.read more.
And He responding said, I am not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And having come she continued to worship Him, saying, Lord, assist me. He responding said, It is not good to take the children's bread and cast it to the little dogs. And she said, Yea, Lord: for the little dogs eat of the crumbs falling from their master's table. Then Jesus responding said to her, O woman, great is thy faith; let it be done unto thee as thou dost wish. And her daughter was healed from that hour.
And rising up, He departed thence into the regions of Tyre and Sidon. And having entered into a house, and He wished no one to know it: and He was not able to be hidden. For a woman hearing concerning Him, whose daughter had an unclean spirit, having come worshiped at His feet. For the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by race; and asked Him that He may cast the demon out of her daughter.read more.
And He said to her, Permit the children first to be fed: for It is not good to take the children's bread and cast it to little dogs. And she responded and says to Him, Yea, Lord: for even the little dogs eat the crumbs of the children under the table. And He said to her, On account of this word go; the demon has already gone out from thy daughter. And having come into her house, she found the demon gone out, and the daughter lying on the bed.
I say unto you that so there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, rather than ninety and nine just persons who have not need of repentance.
So it is not the will of your Father who is in the heavens, that one of these little ones may perish.
So, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
I glorified thee upon the earth, having finished the work that thou hast given to me that I may do it.
And He said to them, Having gone, tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perfect healings to-day and to-morrow, and on the third day I am made perfect.
Now is the judgment of this world: now the prince of this world shall be cast out.
After this, Jesus seeing that all things are already perfected, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, says, I thirst.
Therefore we are truly ambitious, whether being present or absent, to be well pleasing unto him.
For in this the one serving Christ is acceptable to God, and approved unto men.
Therefore we, from the day on which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that you may be filled with the perfect knowledge of his will in all wisdom, and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord in all loyalty, in every good work bearing fruit, and increasing in the perfect knowledge of God.
Yes truly, I even counted all things loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for the sake of whom I suffer the loss of all things, and I consider them but excrements, that I may gain Christ,
But this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou didst send.

but there is one thing, indeed forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those which are before, I press toward the goal unto the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

looking unto Jesus the beginner and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was placed before him, endured the cross, looking with contempt at the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God.

But now abide faith, hope, divine love, these three; but the greatest of these is divine love.
but the end of the commandment is divine love out of a clean heart and a good conscience and faith free from hypocrisy:
Beloved, if God so loved us with divine love, we ought also to love one another with divine love. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another with divine love, God abides in us, and his divine love has been made perfect in us.
If possible, so far as it is within your power, living in peace with all men;
Salt is good: but if the salt may become savorless, with what will you salt it? Have salt in yourselves, and live in peace with one another.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect; be of good comfort; think the same thing, live in peace: and the God of love and peace will be with you.
and that you aspire to be quiet, and to prosecute your own employments, and work with your hands, as we proclaimed unto you;
Going, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. And lo, I am with you all the days, unto the end of the age.
But I consider my life worthy of no consideration to myself, so as to finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear testimony to the gospel of the grace of God.
but being so ambitious not to preach the gospel, where Christ has been named, in order that I may not build on another man's foundation;
For if I preach the gospel, there is no boasting to me; for necessity is laid upon me; for woe is unto me, if I may not preach the gospel.
preach the word: be instant in season and out of season; convict, exhort, rebuke, with all longsuffering and teaching.
until we may all come into the unity of the faith, and of the perfect knowledge of the Son of God, into a perfect man, into the measure of the likeness of the fulness of Christ:
Therefore ye shall be perfect, as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
Because whom he did foreknow, he did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
But we all, with unveiled face beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Therefore having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
After these things I saw, and behold a great multitude, which no one was able to number, out of every nation, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palms in their hands; and they are crying with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, the one sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb.
For this is the will of my Father, that every one seeing the Son, and believing on Him, may have eternal life; and I will raise him up in the last day.
Behold, I speak to you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For indeed being in this tabernacle we groan, being burdened; not that we wish to be divested, but invested, that mortality may be swallowed up of life. But the one having wrought us out unto this same thing is God, the one having given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
then we who are alive, who are left, will at the same time along with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be always with the Lord.
Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it is not yet manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he may be made manifest, we shall be like him; because we shall see him as he is.
Many mansions are in the house of my Father; but if it were not so, I would have told you; because I go to prepare a place for you. And if I may go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; in order that you may also be where I am.
And this is the will of the One having sent me, that everything that the Father has given unto me I shall lose nothing of it, but I shall raise it up in the last day.
