'Foreigners' in the Bible

Are we not reckoned by him as foreigners? For he has sold us, and has also entirely consumed our purchase price.

However, his master said to him, “We will not turn aside into the city of foreigners who are not of the sons of Israel; but we will go on as far as Gibeah.”

“Foreigners pretend obedience to me;As soon as they hear, they obey me.

“Foreigners will build up your walls,And their kings will minister to you;For in My wrath I struck you,And in My favor I have had compassion on you.

Strangers will stand and pasture your flocks,And foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers.

The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm,“I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies;Nor will foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.”

“A sword against their horses and against their chariotsAnd against all the foreigners who are in the midst of her,And they will become women!A sword against her treasures, and they will be plundered!

“I will dispatch foreigners to Babylon that they may winnow herAnd may devastate her land;For on every side they will be opposed to herIn the day of her calamity.

I will give it into the hands of the foreigners as plunder and to the wicked of the earth as spoil, and they will profane it.

when you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to profane it, even My house, when you offered My food, the fat and the blood; for they made My covenant void—this in addition to all your abominations.

And you have not kept charge of My holy things yourselves, but you have set foreigners to keep charge of My sanctuary.”

‘Thus says the Lord God, “No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the sons of Israel, shall enter My sanctuary.

“On the day that you stood aloof,On the day that strangers carried off his wealth,And foreigners entered his gateAnd cast lots for Jerusalem—You too were as one of them.
