'Garbage' in the Bible

He raises the poor from the dustand lifts the needy from the garbage pile.He seats them with noblemenand gives them a throne of honor.For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;He has set the world on them.

I also issue a decree concerning any man who interferes with this directive: Let a beam be torn from his house and raised up; he will be impaled on it, and his house will be made into a garbage dump because of this offense.

when we are slandered, we respond graciously. Even now, we are like the world’s garbage, like the dirt everyone scrapes off their sandals.
