'Gift' in the Bible

And she said to him, "Give me {a gift}; you have given me the land of the Negev, and give me also a spring of water." And Caleb gave to her the upper and lower spring.

Please do not leave this place until I return to You. Let me bring my gift and set it before You.”And He said, “I will stay until you return.”

Later on, during the wheat harvest, Samson took a young goat as a gift and visited his wife. “I want to go to my wife in her room,” he said. But her father would not let him enter.
