'Gladly' in the Bible

for Herod feared John knowing that he was a just and holy man, and kept him safe; and having heard him, did many things, and heard him gladly.

David himself therefore calls him Lord, and whence is he his son? And the mass of the people heard him gladly.

And it came to pass when Jesus returned, the crowd received him gladly, for they were all expecting him.
