'Glorious' in the Bible

Has a nation ever changed its gods (even though they are not really gods at all)? But my people have exchanged me, their glorious God, for a god that cannot help them at all!

Say to the king and the queen mother:Take a humble seat,for your glorious crownshave fallen from your heads.

Because of Your name, don’t despise us.Don’t disdain Your glorious throne.Remember Your covenant with us;do not break it.

A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.

Mourn for him, all you surrounding nations,everyone who knows his name.Say: How the mighty scepter is shattered,the glorious staff!
