'Greater' in the Bible
Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater [things] than these!"
You are not greater than our father Jacob, [are you], who gave us the well and drank from it himself, and his sons and his livestock?"
For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything that he himself is doing. And greater works than these he will show him, so that you will be astonished.
"But I have a testimony greater than John's, for the works which the Father has given to me that I should complete them--the very works which I am doing--[these] testify about me, that the Father has sent me.
You are not greater than our father Abraham who died, [are you]? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself [to be]?"
My Father, who has given [them] to me, is greater than all, and no one can seize [them] from the Father's hand.
Truly, truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor a messenger greater than the one who sent him.

No one has greater love than this: that someone lay down his life for his friends.
Remember the word that I said to you: 'A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.
Jesus replied to him, "You would not have any authority over me unless it was given to you from above. For this [reason] the one who handed me over to you has greater sin."
