'Gulf' in the Bible

For there is nothing trustworthy or reliable or truthful in what they say;Their heart is destruction [just a treacherous chasm, a yawning gulf of lies].Their throat is an open grave;They [glibly] flatter with their [silken] tongue.

The Lord will divide the Gulf of Suez.He will wave His hand over the Euphrateswith His mighty windand will split it into seven streams,letting people walk through on foot.

The people of the earth will quake when they hear of their downfall. Their cries of anguish will be heard all the way to the Gulf of Aqaba.
