'Hairs' in the Bible

If you take this one also from me, and harm or an accident happens to him, you will bring my gray hair down to Sheol in sorrow.’

when he sees that the young man is not with us, he will die; and your servants will bring the gray hair of your servant our father down to Sheol in [great] sorrow.

‘Outside the sword will bereave,And inside [the chambers] terror—For both young man and virgin,For the nursing child and the man of gray hair.

For innumerable evils have encompassed me;My sins have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see.They are more numerous than the hairs of my head,And my heart has failed me.

Those who hate me without cause are more than the hairs of my head;Those who would destroy me are powerful, being my enemies wrongfully;I am forced to restore what I did not steal.

Also take some of them and bind them in the edges of your robes.

Again take some hair and throw them into the fire and burn them in the fire; from it a fire will spread to all the house of Israel.

Strangers have devoured his strength,Yet he does not know it;Gray hairs are sprinkled on him,Yet he does not know.
