'Hears' in the Bible

so that they caused the cry of the poor to come before him, so that he hears the cry of the needy.

“Men of understanding will say to me,And a wise man who hears me,

It scoffs at the noise of the villageand never hears the shouts of a driver.

When the trumpet blasts, he snorts defiantly.He smells the battle from a distance;he hears the officers’ shouts and the battle cry.
