When you try to cultivate the ground it will no longer yield its best for you. You will be a homeless wanderer on the earth."

“Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m going to try them out. I ask you to excuse me.’

But Jesus called for the children, saying, "Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

And he confessed [truthfully] and did not deny [that he was only a man], but acknowledged, “I am not the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed)!”

They said this to test Him, hoping that they would have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and began writing on the ground with His finger.

Again He said to them, "I am going away. Then you will try to find me, but you will die in your sins. Where I am going, it is impossible for you to come."

This made them once more try to arrest Him, but He withdrew out of their power.

Pilate told them, "You take him and try him according to your Law."
