'Hills' in the Bible

They offer sacrifices on the tops of the mountainsAnd burn incense on the hills,Under oak, poplar and terebinth,Because their shade is pleasant.Therefore your daughters play the harlotAnd your brides commit adultery.

Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed;Thorn and thistle will grow on their altars;Then they will say to the mountains,“Cover us!” And to the hills, “Fall on us!”
