'Houses' in the Bible

Or with princes who had gold,Who were filling their houses with silver.

‘How much more those who dwell in houses of clay,Whose foundation is in the dust,Who are crushed before the moth!

“He has lived in desolate cities,In houses no one would inhabit,Which are destined to become ruins.

Their houses are safe from fear,And the rod of God is not on them.

“Yet He filled their houses with good things;But the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

“In the dark they dig into houses,They shut themselves up by day;They do not know the light.
