'Intercede' in the Bible

And thou dost not pray for this people, Nor lift up for them crying and prayer, Nor intercede with Me, for I hear thee not.

The Lord said:I will certainly set you free and care for you.I will certainly intercede for youin a time of trouble,in your time of distress, with the enemy.

Pay attention to me, O Lord [and intercede];Listen to what my adversaries are saying [and are plotting against me]—

If they are indeed prophets and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them intercede with the Lord of Hosts not to let the articles that remain in the Lord’s temple, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem go to Babylon.’
