'Joy' in the Bible

You became imitators of us and of the Lord. In spite of a great deal of suffering, you welcomed the word with the joy that the Holy Spirit produces.

After all, who is our hope, joy, or reason for rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming? It is you, isn't it?

Yes, you are our glory and joy!

How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy that we have in God's presence because of you?
