'Merciful' in the Bible

The merciful are blessed,for they will be shown mercy.

Because of our God’s merciful compassion,the Dawn from on high will visit us

Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Therefore, He had to be like His brothers in every way, so that He could become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing,and I will never again remember their sins.

See, we count as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
