'Met' in the Bible
When He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way.
And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him.
When He got out of the boat, immediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met Him,
And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs.
On the next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met Him.
As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him;
As he was now going down, his slaves met him, saying that his son was living.
Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha met Him.
For this reason also the people went and met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.
Now Judas also, who was betraying Him, knew the place, for Jesus had often met there with His disciples.
When Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and fell at his feet and worshiped him.
and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board and came to Mitylene.
But striking a reef where two seas met, they ran the vessel aground; and the prow stuck fast and remained immovable, but the stern began to be broken up by the force of the waves.
For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him.
