'Misled' in the Bible
Then the LORD God asked the woman, "What did you do?" "The Shining One misled me," the woman answered, "so I ate."
Until I come and take you to a land like your land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees, olive oil, and honey, that [you may] live and not die! You must not listen to Hezekiah, for he has misled you [by] saying, "Yahweh will deliver us!"
But they did not obey, and Manasseh misled them so that they sinned more than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed from before the Israelites.
Thus Manasseh misled Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the sons of Israel.
“With Him are strength and sound wisdom,The misled and the misleader belong to Him.
Why has your heart misled you,and why do your eyes flash
The officials of Zoan are fools, the officials of Memphis are misled; the rulers of her tribes lead Egypt astray.
"You trusted in your own knowledge. You said, "No one sees me.' Your wisdom and knowledge have misled you. You said in your heart, "I am the one, and there will be none besides me.'
Then I said, “Alas, Lord God! Surely You have completely deceived and misled this people and Jerusalem, [for the prophets represented You as] saying [to Your people], ‘You will have peace,’ but [in fact] a sword reaches to their throat.”
‘All the women who remain in the palace of Judah’s king will be brought out to the officials of the king of Babylon and will say:Your trusted friends misled youand overcame you.Your feet sank into the mire,and they deserted you.
It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;
