'Numerous' in the Bible
There were also many women there looking on from a distance, who had accompanied Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him.
Now many Samaritans from that city believed in Him and trusted Him [as Savior] because of what the woman said when she testified, “He told me all the things that I have done.”
At the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders (attesting miracles) were continually taking place among the people. And by common consent they all met together [at the temple] in [the covered porch called] Solomon’s portico.
Now there were many lamps in the upper room where we were assembled,
so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other].
Since there is one bread, we [believers] who are many are [united into] one body; for we all partake of the one bread [which represents the body of Christ].
‘I know your deeds, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your last deeds are more numerous and greater than the first.
