'Obey' in the Bible

I didn’t obey my teachersor listen closely to my mentors.

My son, obey my words,and treasure my commands.

Keep my commands so that you may live, and obey my instruction as your most prized possession.

"So listen to me, children! Blessed are those who obey me.

The wise in heart [are willing to learn so they] will accept and obey commands (instruction),But the babbling fool [who is arrogant and thinks himself wise] will come to ruin.
