'Obey' in the Bible

Foreigners submit to me grudgingly;as soon as they hear, they obey me.

“But My people did not listen to Me;Israel did not obey Me.

All this happenedso that they might keep His statutesand obey His instructions.Hallelujah!

Help me understand Your instruction,and I will obey itand follow it with all my heart.
