'Oppressor' in the Bible

Learn to do what is good.Seek justice.Correct the oppressor.Defend the rights of the fatherless.Plead the widow’s cause.

For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

But with righteousness and justice He will judge the poor,And decide with fairness for the downtrodden of the earth;And He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

Let my refugees stay with you;be a refuge for Moab from the aggressor.When the oppressor has gone,destruction has ended,and marauders have vanished from the land.
