'Parched' in the Bible
God, you are my God! I will fervently seek you. My soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry, weary, and parched land.
God causes the lonely to dwell in families. He leads prisoners into prosperity, but rebels live on parched land.
You shed abroad a plentiful rain, O God;You confirmed Your inheritance when it was parched.
I am weary from my crying;my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.
My heart is parched and withered like grass, for I am unable to eat food.
I spread out my hands to You;I am like parched land before You.Selah
