'Place' in the Bible

When I observe Your heavens,the work of Your fingers,the moon and the stars,which You set in place,

“Because of the oppression of the afflictedand the groaning of the poor,I will now rise up,” says the Lord.“I will put the one who longs for it in a safe place.”

He made darkness His hiding place,dark storm clouds His canopy around Him.

He brought me out to a spacious place;He rescued me because He delighted in me.

You widen a place beneath me for my steps,and my ankles do not give way.

For You meet him with rich blessings;You place a crown of pure gold on his head.

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?Who may stand in His holy place?

Lord, I love the house where You dwell,the place where Your glory resides.

and have not handed me over to the enemy.You have set my feet in a spacious place.

You are my hiding place;You protect me from trouble.You surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance.Selah

Place no trust in oppression,or false hope in robbery.If wealth increases,pay no attention to it.

Your adversaries roared in the meeting placewhere You met with us.They set up their emblems as signs.

They said in their hearts,“Let us oppress them relentlessly.”They burned down every place throughout the landwhere God met with us.

You cleared a place for it;it took root and filled the land.

A psalm of Asaph.God has taken His place in the divine assembly;He judges among the gods:

when the wind passes over it, it vanishes,and its place is no longer known.

mountains rose and valleys sank—to the place You established for them.

I called to the Lord in distress;the Lord answered meand put me in a spacious place.

I will walk freely in an open placebecause I seek Your precepts.

until I find a place for the Lord,a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
