'Population' in the Bible

Now after the population of human beings had increased throughout the earth, and daughters had been born to them,

God looked at the earth, observing how corrupt its population had become, because the entire human race had corrupted itself.

These three are the sons of Noah; and from these was the population of the whole earth spread abroad.

Before they went to bed, the men of the city of Sodom, both young and old, the whole population, surrounded the house.
