'Praise' in the Bible

Just as underwear clings to one’s waist, so I fastened the whole house of Israel and of Judah to Me”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“so that they might be My people for My fame, praise, and glory, but they would not obey.

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;save me, and I will be saved,for You are my praise.

Sing to the Lord!Praise the Lord,for He rescues the life of the needyfrom the hand of evil people.

For this is what the Lord says:Sing with joy for Jacob;shout for the chief of the nations!Proclaim, praise, and say,“Lord, save Your people,the remnant of Israel!”

This city will bear on My behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the good I will do for them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them.

a sound of joy and gladness, the voice of the groom and the bride, and the voice of those saying,Praise the Lord of Hosts,for the Lord is good;His faithful love endures foreveras they bring thank offerings to the temple of the Lord. There is no longer praise for Moab;they plan harm against her in Heshbon:Come, let’s cut her off from nationhood.Also, Madmen, you will be silenced;the sword will pursue you.

How can the city of praise not be abandoned,the town that brings Me joy?

How Sheshach has been captured,the praise of the whole earth seized.What a horror Babylon has becomeamong the nations!
