When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and knelt down before Him.
The men who tended them ran off and reported it in the town and the countryside, and people went to see what had happened.
but many saw them leaving and recognized them. People ran there by land from all the towns and arrived ahead of them.
All of a sudden, when the whole crowd saw Him, they were amazed and ran to greet Him.
As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, fixed it on a reed, offered Him a drink, and said, “Let’s see if Elijah comes to take Him down!”
