'Ready' in the Bible

If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword;He has bent His bow and made it ready.

For, behold, the wicked bend the bow,They make ready their arrow upon the stringTo shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

For I am ready to fall,And my sorrow is continually before me.

For the choir director; according to the Shoshannim. A Maskil of the sons of Korah. A Song of Love.My heart overflows with a good theme;I address my verses to the King;My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

They devise injustices, saying,“We are ready with a well-conceived plot”;For the inward thought and the heart of a man are deep.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.

Let Your hand be ready to help me,For I have chosen Your precepts.
