'Reaper' in the Bible

and can’t even fill the hands of the reaperor the arms of the one who binds sheaves.

It will be as if a reaper had gathered standing grain—his arm harvesting the heads of grain—and as if one had gleaned heads of grainin the Valley of Rephaim.

Speak as follows:This is what the Lord says:Human corpses will falllike manure on the surface of the field,like newly cut grain after the reaperwith no one to gather it.

Hear this! The days are coming—this is the Lord’s declaration—when the plowman will overtake the reaperand the one who treads grapes,the sower of seed.The mountains will drip with sweet wine,and all the hills will flow with it.
