21 Bible Verses about Not Reaping What You Sow

For these two years has the famine been in the land: and there are yet five years, in the which there shall neither be plowing nor harvest.

Be ashamed, O you farmers; wail, O you vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field has perished.

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the first ripe fruit.

Speak, Thus says the LORD, Even the dead bodies of men shall fall as refuse upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.

And he said unto him, Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was a severe man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow:

I sent you to reap that on which you bestowed no labor: other men labored, and you are entered into their labors.
