'Refrained' in the Bible

When they were sick, I wore sackcloth, and refrained from eating food. (If I am lying, may my prayers go unanswered!)

I was mute and silent,I refrained even from good,And my sorrow grew worse.

I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
