'Reproach' in the Bible
Then he began to reproach the towns in which the majority of his miracles had been done, because they did not repent:
but now you have been reconciled by {his physical body} through death, to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,
and these also must be tested first; then let them serve [if they] are above reproach.
For to this [end] we labor and suffer reproach, because we have put our hope in [the] living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of believers.
Therefore I want younger [widows] to marry, to bear children, to manage a household, to give the adversary no opportunity for reproach.
sound message beyond reproach, in order that {an opponent} may be put to shame, [because he] has nothing bad to say concerning us.
considering {reproach endured for the sake of Christ} greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.
So we must go out to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
